Rural Counties Are Changing That.Wise County's Commissioners Court unanimously passed a resolution Monday demanding the Texas Legislature either regulate datacenter siting statewide or grant counties explicit authority over projects in unincorporated areas, where developers can currently begin construction without even notifying the county.
