Constellation Energy and CyrusOne have announced a 380 MW power deal to support a new datacenter facility at the Freestone Energy Center, a 1,045 MW natural gas combined-cycle plant in Freestone County, Texas, one of the clearest examples yet of a generator monetizing an existing dispatchable asset for co-located datacenter load.
